This weekend the east of the country was activated, mobilized and organized after the presentation of “Let’s Save Venezuela” made personally by President in Charge Juan Guaidó, during an intense tour that began on Friday, March 11th in Anzoátegui State.
The agenda began with a meeting with regional and municipal leaders from the states of Anzoátegui, Sucre and Nueva Esparta, where the objective was to design strategies to unify the struggle around the demand for free elections that is only possible with guarantees and conditions.
“Let’s save Venezuela. Today I call you to action to demand and achieve free elections as soon as possible. Let’s save Venezuela is an action plan to achieve these free and fair elections, but also to achieve labor demands in each sector, to achieve decent wages. There is no aspiration that is above Venezuela,” said Pres. Guaidó at the meeting.
The President in Charge was accompanied, on the tour of the east that ended this Sunday, by leaders such as Delsa Solórzano, Biagio Pilieri and Roberto Enrique.
Among the activities carried out there was also a meeting with civil society and representatives of the Broad Front of the eastern part of the country, in Anzoátegui State, where Guaidó reiterated the call to unify the struggle.
Unity of Purpose
The head of the government in charge toured various popular areas and markets where he spoke with the citizens whom he asked not to lose heart in this fight because the democratic forces, the legitimate national Parliament and the Unitary Platform remain firm and advance more every day to achieve the change that is urgent in the country and that requires the holding of free and fair elections.
“The organization of the majority is vital because we are the ones who want freedom and democracy. Mobilization to exercise that majority and save Venezuela.”
He insisted on the importance of “unity of purpose, action and message”, since this is how the goals and objectives will be achieved in the short, medium and long term.
Finally, Guaidó said that he and the leaders of different political organizations that make up the “Let’s Save Venezuela” initiative will continue touring the country to replicate the message of struggle and unity.
